“That was my wife’s advice, after I lamented for what seemed like months over the purchase of these boots. They’re not any more expensive than a pair of dress shoes, so while pricey for rubber boots, they’re not that far over the top. In the end, while it took me a while to decide, I couldn’t be happier with these boots!

They are wonderfully comfortable, conforming to my foot after the first few outings, without the sweaty/clammy feet I’ve experienced with other wellies. They are extremely durable in the field and by the lake, taking on everything I’ve thrown at them so far (as well as handling a muddy, flooded back yard). I had dry and warm feet, just as expected.
The zipper was a little tough to get going, even after lubricating the zipper with the silicone spray. I am confident that will get better with time and additional treatment.
Bottom line – listen to my wife… you’ll thank her (and then I’ll really never hear the end of it.)”
