“I have worn a pair of Le Chameau boots everyday for 2.5 years, winter to summer for 2 hours or all day. I am now buying a second pair because the first have slight tears in the rubber on the top side of the foot, which makes them slightly less waterproof. However even if you get water in them they dry out and and are still comfortable for the rest of the walk. I have had Hunter and Barbour boots all my life, but they are much more rigid, split along the sole, and are also much more difficult to drive in.
